Movik to showcases intelligent RAN awareness platform

By Telecom Lead Team: Movik Networks will showcase its
Intelligent RAN Awareness Platform that acts in real-time on all traffic from
the RAN, enabling mobile operators to better plan, optimize and manage their
most valuable network asset.

Movik’s Intelligent RAN Awareness solution allows mobile
operators to tailor actions and policies on a per-sector, per-condition,
per-content, and per-subscriber basis.

At Mobile World Congress 2012, Movik will demonstrate how
its Intelligent RAN Awareness Platform is helping global mobile operators
efficiently support their subscribers’ always-on mobile lifestyle by enabling
them to make significantly better use of their RAN and packet core resources.

Movik said its Intelligent RAN Awareness Platform
delivers 50 percent reduction in page download times, 45 percent reduction in
video start times with no user impact and 30 percent reduction in network
traffic.

Movik’s Intelligent RAN Awareness Platform balances the
needs of the network and the subscriber, extracting real-time mobile network
conditions from the RAN and aggregating this information into actionable
reports and triggers for managing the network.

By combining RAN, content, and subscriber awareness,
Movik’s solution enables mobile operators to create intelligent actions
tailored to mobile network conditions, maintaining subscriber QoE (Quality of
Experience) while streamlining RAN costs.
