GTL Infrastructure Q3 income up 10% to Rs 136 crore

By Telecom Lead Team:
Telecom infrastructure firm GTL Infrastructure has posted 10 percent growth in
revenue for the third quarter at 135.98
 crore against
Rs 123.96 crore in the same quarter previous year.

The firm’s EBITDA for
the current quarter stood at Rs 72.17 crore as against Rs 71.21 crore for the
corresponding quarter in the previous year, recording a growth of 1 percent.

The company posted 14
percent growth in consolidated revenue for the third quarter at 349.83 crore
against Rs 306.73 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

Consolidated EBITDA
for the current quarter increased by 4.5 percent at Rs 185.21 crore against Rs
177.23 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The company said that
the recent Supreme Court verdict on the cancellation of 122 licenses for 2G
operators may impact its consolidated monthly revenue by approximately Rs 7
crore (6 percent of its consolidated revenue at current run rate).

The company’s
management believes that the operators affecting its portfolio are large
established operators with long term commitment to the Indian market, and
therefore the actual impact may be much lower.

The company is
currently operational in all 23 telecom circles and has all leading telecom
operators as tenants on its towers. The company added that all contracts are
typically for a period of 10-15 years.
