Globecomm wins infrastructure contracts from a major Asian DTH operator

Telecom Lead America: Globecomm Systems, a communications solutions provider, announced that the Company has been awarded various infrastructure contracts valued at $5.3 million.

Under the terms set forth in the contracts, Globecomm will provide a Direct-To-Home (DTH) uplink system for a major Asian DTH operator and a disaster recovery system for a foreign government customer.

Globecomm anticipates the completion of these contracts by the Company’s fiscal year 2014 second quarter ending December 31, 2013.

Globecomm Systems also offers 4G hosted switching solution that reduces the requisite time, money and manpower to initiate or convert to a 4G business. Enabling operators to more easily create LTE networks and deploy Voice over LTE and other IMS related services, Globecomm’s 4G solution provides an affordable converged packet gateway solution.
