Flexenclosure to set up telecom site production unit in India

Telecom Lead India: Flexenclosure, the Swedish-based provider of power
management systems and data center solutions for telecom industry, is
planning to set up its production facility in India.

The company is currently working with a top tower company in India for trials.

Flexenclosure competes with telecom equipment makers such as Nokia Siemens Networks, Ericsson, Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, ZTE, Cisco, NEC and others.

David King, CEO of Flexenclosure told Telecom Lead: “We are looking at setting up a manufacturing facility in India within the next 12 months. Our expansion plans in India will depend on volume of business.”

“We offer cost effective and quality products to the industry. We will also be assisting the Indian telecom industry to reduce dependence on diesel and reduce CO2 emissions,” King added.

Flexenclosure, in association with financial institutions, will be offering special finance packages to motivate telecom operators and telecom tower companies to use E-sites.

The E-site is a green energy solution that enables mobile base stations off-grid to be powered mainly by renewable energy sources (sun and wind) instead of dirty and expensive diesel fuel.

Flexenclosure is in advanced talks with Indian telecom operators to deploy E-sites. E-sites will assist Indian mobile operators to save $3,000 per site / month.

“It will be huge savings for the domestic operators who want to cut down on Opex,” said Mukesh Singh, CEO of Flexenclosure Telecom India.

Flexenclosure specializes in intelligent telecom site
solutions, helping operators all over the world expand and modernize their
networks.

The Flexenclosure data Centers are turnkey pre-fabricated modular data and energy centers especially designed to house sensitive data and telecom equipment, and optimized for energy efficiency and low TCO.

Recently  Airtel decided to upgrade an initial batch of 250 diesel powered base stations in Nigeria with E-site by Flexenclosure.

Recently Flexenclosure participated in the Swedish government’s recent
launch in preparation for the international conference Stockholm+40 –
Partnership Forum for Sustainable Development.

Flexenclosure’s VP Business Development and Marketing, Johansson, was part of a high-level panel of experts, who, together with
Sweden’s Minister for the Environment Lena Ek and Sweden’s Minister for
International Development Cooperation Gunilla Carlsson, discussed sustainable
innovations, sustainable production and sustainable lifestyle.
