Samsung Galaxy Mega, 6.3-inch smartphone, reaches AT&T and Sprint

Samsung Galaxy Mega, a 6.3-inch smartphone, will be available with AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular.

AT&T will start selling Samsung Galaxy Mega that has larger screen than the Galaxy S 4 on August 23.

The company claims that AT&T will be the first carrier in the U.S. to offer the Samsung Galaxy Mega for $24 per month with AT&T Next or $149.99 with a two-year agreement.

“Images and web content come alive on the large display, making it easy to stay productive and entertained almost anywhere, all on the nation’s fastest and now most reliable 4G LTE network,” said said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T.

Sprint will offer Samsung Galaxy Mega on the Sprint network later this year.

“Galaxy Mega is an ideal smartphone to demonstrate the value of Sprint’s unlimited 4G LTE data plans,” said Fared Adib, senior vice president-Product Development, Sprint.

Superior Galaxy specifications

The Galaxy Mega’s big-screen experience enhances everything — watching a video, browsing web pages or composing an email — on a smartphone.

“We continue to bring innovation with our Galaxy family of devices, with the Galaxy Mega representing a manifestation of consumer’s enthusiasm for our thin, large screen designs,” said Nick DiCarlo, vice president of product planning and marketing at Samsung Mobile.
