RIM unveils second BlackBerry Premium Store in Gurgaon

Telecom Lead India: Research In Motion (RIM), maker
of BlackBerry smartphones, announced the opening of the its second BlackBerry
Premium Store in Gurgaon, Haryana.

The second store will feature the entire BlackBerry
product portfolio. The company said that the BlackBerry Premium Store will
offer holistic consumer experience on BlackBerry consumer and enterprise services to its
consumers.


Furthermore, the BlackBerry Premium Store will provide
customers the opportunity to discover the BlackBerry experience within special
zones featuring consumer and enterprise applications along with product service
and a demo zone to highlight the exceptional performance of BlackBerry
smartphones.


The BlackBerry Premium store will be open seven days a
week and the company plan to open similar stores in key metro cities in
India in phased manner.


BlackBerry and Samsung plan new retail strategies for smart
phones


RIM and Samsung are strengthening their presence in
Indian mobile market by enhancing their branded stores.


Recently, RIM opened the BlackBerry Premium Store in
Delhi.


Samsung Electronics opened its first Samsung Mobile Brand
Store in Delhi. The Samsung Mobile branded showroom features Samsung’s entire
smart phones range including tablets and accessories.


Recently, RIM announced a new 3G enabled BlackBerry
Curve 9320 smartphone that features the entire core
BlackBerry messaging and social-centric features that keep people connected.
Earlier, the company launched BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India, which is
available from authorized retailers and distributors.
