Realme features in the list for the top 10 smartphone brands, according to the Canalys report. Realme has 4 percent share in the global smartphone market in 2024. The size of the smartphone market was 1.22 billion (up 7 percent) in 2024.

The strategy reflects Realme’s commitment to user-driven growth and technological innovation, emphasizing its role as a brand that continuously exceeds expectations, particularly among the youth. At MWC, Realme also introduced the Realme 14 Pro Series 5G and the Realme Interchangeable-lens Concept, marking a significant leap in its product innovation.

Realme’s rapid expansion in markets like Spain, Italy, and Mexico during Q3 and Q4 2024 has fueled its confidence to scale further, targeting over 100 global markets. The brand’s roadmap focuses on three pillars: product innovation, brand enhancement, and cutting-edge technology,” Chase Xu, Vice President and CMO of Realme, said.

Realme has strategically positioned its three product lineups to cater to different market segments: the GT Series as the ultimate AI-driven performance flagship, the Number Series as the benchmark for mid-range performance, and the C Series as the best-in-class offering for budget-conscious young users.

A key element of Realme’s strategy is its commitment to AI innovation. Through the NEXT AI initiative, the company aims to popularize AI by making advanced imaging, efficiency, and gaming technologies more accessible. With an ambitious goal of delivering 100 million AI smartphones over the next three years, Realme seeks to redefine mobile AI capabilities while ensuring high-end chipsets and robust battery performance across all its devices.

Understanding the preferences of young consumers, Realme is strengthening its gaming and entertainment partnerships. The company is collaborating with top gaming firms to enhance gaming experiences by focusing on high frame rates, low latency, and immersive user engagement.

Additionally, Realme plans to engage in cross-industry collaborations with iconic IPs, launching exclusive limited-edition products that reflect youth culture and creativity. This approach aligns with Realme’s vision to remain a brand that resonates with young consumers, not just through technology but also through cultural and lifestyle influences.

By integrating AI, expanding its market reach, and engaging deeply with young users through gaming and entertainment, Realme is positioning itself as a leading global smartphone brand for the next generation. Its focus on sustainable breakthroughs and cutting-edge technology ensures that it remains at the forefront of innovation while continuing to deliver on its promise of high performance and user-centric experiences.

The Realme 14 Pro Series 5G, unveiled at MWC 2025, introduces the world’s first cold-sensitive color-changing smartphone lineup, combining flagship-level design, imaging, and performance in the mid-range segment.

Developed in collaboration with Valeur Designers, the series features the “Unique Pearl Design,” utilizing advanced thermochromic pigments that shift from pearl white to vibrant blue in low temperatures. The Suede Grey variant offers a premium touch with vegan suede leather.

In terms of camera innovation, the Realme 14 Pro+ is the only mid-range smartphone equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, featuring a 1/2” Sony IMX882 sensor and 120X SuperZoom. It also includes a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera, delivering DSLR-level clarity.

With NEXT AI-powered AI Ultra Clarity 2.0 and AI Super-resolution, the series enhances imaging performance, particularly in low-light conditions. The introduction of the world’s first MagicGlow Triple Flash further elevates night photography with professional-grade light fill.

Realme 14 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 5G Platform, while the Realme 14 Pro features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, ensuring smooth gaming and multitasking. The 14 Pro+ supports 120fps gameplay for top games, offering an ultra-responsive experience.

Both models pack a 6,000mAh Titan graphite battery, delivering up to 10 hours of gaming and 17 hours of video playback. Additionally, the 14 Pro+ features a symmetrical quad-curved display with an impressive 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, providing an immersive viewing experience.

A recent report from Counterpoint said the global smartphone market will grow 8 percent in terms of revenue and 4 percent in terms of volume in 2025.
