Mavenir Powers Georgia’s 5G Future with Major MagtiCom Small Cell Deal
Mavenir has secured a major contract with Georgian telecom operator MagtiCom to deploy advanced 4G and 5G small cell technology across the country. The rollout follows a successful trial earlier this year and will begin in Q2 2026 with beta deployments targeting residential users, small offices, and enterprise customers before expanding nationwide. Mavenir will provide a full suite of hardware, software, management, and orchestration solutions designed to improve indoor coverage, boost mobile capacity, and reduce congestion in densely populated areas. Small cells, often installed on existing street infrastructure, offer operators a cost-effective and less intrusive way to strengthen next-generation mobile networks and support rising demand for high-speed data services.
