Liberty Global Sells UPC Slovakia to O2, Boosting Broadband Reach and Strategic Focus

Liberty Global has agreed to sell its Slovakian unit UPC Slovakia to O2 Slovakia, part of e& PPF Telecom Group, for approximately €95 million, representing about 7× the 2025 estimated EBITDA. The acquisition includes a broadband network covering over 600,000 households across 80 cities, offering speeds up to 2.5 Gbps, positioning O2 to expand high-speed internet access in Slovakia.
