Nexage, a provider of market liquidity in mobile
advertising, announced they are opening new offices in San Francisco and New
York and significantly bolstering their executive, engineering, and sales
teams.
Nexage is growing as more and more buyers and sellers
select Nexage to enable and accelerate the mobile advertising business. The Nexage
Revenue Platform, the mobile advertising’s only integrated RTB exchange and
mediation platform, is delivering unparalleled value to buyers and sellers
alike, building critically important market liquidity, and fueling Nexage’s
rapid growth.
By opening offices in San Francisco and New York, Nexage
is able to better meet surging demand, expand market presence, and extend
relationships with publishers, developers, ad networks, and demand-side
platforms (DSPs).
Nexage has expanded its executive, engineering, and sales
teams. Victor Milligan, CMO; Mark Connon, EVP of Corporate and Business
Development; Keith Waters, director of Engineering; and Chris Binstadt, sr.
director of Sales have joined Nexage to accelerate market leadership.
“Nexage is growing at a meteoric pace because our
customers and partners are realizing a high rate of success with us, a
testament to our superior technology and extraordinary people,” said Ernie
Cormier, CEO and president of Nexage.
Victor Milligan is a seasoned executive with a long track
record of driving market growth at Booz Allen, Gartner, and Martin Dawes
Analytics (MDA). Most recently, Victor served as chief strategy officer and
chief marketing officer at MDA and led strategy, marketing, partner
development, product management, and business development.
Victor successfully repositioned MDA into the high-growth
analytic market, driving growth in the communications and media markets, and
successfully entering the Utility/Smart Grid market. Prior to MDA, Victor was a
senior managing partner at Gartner Consulting, leading their global industries
practice.
Mark Connon is an established industry leader with a
unique blend of expertise in mobile, advertising, publishing, and privacy. Mark
joins Nexage from Umber Systems where he served as chief corporate development
and privacy officer, overseeing strategic relationships, privacy and the
company’s leading advertising and mobile data monetization solutions for its
mobile carrier customers.
Mark has previously held CEO, COO, and executive level
corporate and business development roles with successful start-ups and public
companies focused on mobile advertising, data monetization, mobile device
technologies, and digital media, including OwnerIQ, Digit Wireless, Zip2 Corp.,
and MyWay, a CMGI Company.
Keith Waters joins Nexage from
Akamai Technologies where he served as principal mobile architect. Prior to
Akamai, Keith served as senior director of Research at Orange Labs Boston where
he built state-of-the-art mobile hardware prototypes with next-generation
software infrastructure.
At Nexage, he’s responsible for developing our device
software capabilities across mobile web, Android, iOS, and RIM platforms.
Chris Binstadt joins Nexage as senior director of Sales.
Before Nexage, Chris served as director of business development at Greystripe
and was responsible for managing the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, Fox
Properties, Associated Press, Gannett, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.
Chris will open Nexage’s San Francisco office to
strengthen Nexage’s presence on the West Coast.
Nexage recently announced that it is now managing
a rate of over 8 billion impressions per month on its Nexage Revenue
Platform.
This represents a 50 percent growth rate over a
three-month period from May through July 2011. The rapid growth rate in mobile
ad impressions signals a key step forward in creating a liquid market that
benefits buyers and sellers alike.
