Flytxt, a provider of
advertising solutions, has partnered with MARA-ISON to offer its services
throughout Africa.
Flytxt will aim to
support mobile operators as well as brands and advertisers to reach their
target audience in a continent that already has over 600 million mobile
subscribers.
Africa, whose
combined economy is bigger than either India or Brazil, will add more than 200
million new consumers by 2015, increasing the need for companies and brands
to leverage mobile as a channel to identify and interact with their
potential consumer.

will help mobile operators as well as advertisers carry out high ROI mobile
advertising campaigns with zero SPAM and without invading privacy,” said
Vinod Vasudevan, CEO of Flytxt.
To date
Flytxt has enabled more than 50,000 mobile marketing campaigns across
three continents, including Asia and Europe.
MARA-ISON’s network
in Africa will augment Flytxt’s service delivery capabilities that, among other
things, include converting mobile operators’ subscriber touch-points into
premium ad media opportunities.
