The new appointment is part of its expansion plans in India.

Livingston will be exhibiting at the Convergence India ICT conference in New Delhi on 16 –19 January 2013.

“India is a hot bed of test activity right now, with 2G and 3G infrastructure needing be maintained and added to, plus LTE-based 4G deployments just starting to get under way in the last 6 months, as operators look to improve the mobile data experience. The need for test equipment rental is strong as a result, as it enables technology firms to utilize their budget to the fullest,” said Shailendra Kalra, Livingston’s newly appointed sales director.

The company promises that partnering with Livingston allows companies to optimize their capital expenditure, bringing greater return on investment, as well as generating cash for unused or underused assets through its equipment disposal and redeployment activities.

“We are able to differentiate ourselves from our competitors as we are not just simply another rental firm, we are an end-to-end test sourcing partner – providing a full service, managing every aspect of test equipment supply. This includes procuring equipment, inventory management, asset recovery and disposal of defunct equipment, as well as the sale of used equipment.”
