Deutsche Telekom has selected IDEMIA’s Smart Connect Entitlement server solution to enhance the user experience.
Mobile operators can cost effectively deploy Smart Connect Entitlement for authentication for devices and subscribers, entitlement authorization, subscription/message notifications, VoLTE and VoWiFi Management and SMS free feature registration.
Deutsche Telekom selected IDEMIA’s Smart Connect Entitlement, which supports both Apple iOS and Google Android platforms, to accelerate the launch of eSIM-enabled devices in Europe.
IDEMIA’s Smart Connect Entitlement ensures Deutsche Telekom will always have the very latest OEM specifications to support smartphones, wearables and tablets on a cost effective and easy to deploy platform, Deutsche Telekom’s VP International Technology & Services Data Hans-Artur Panse, said.
Deutsche Telekom earlier said nine European subsidiaries and the USA have introduced NB-IoT. Deutsche Telekom said the nationwide expansion of NB-IoT networks is expected by the end of 2019.
