Telecom Lead India: Amdocs has appointed Sanjay Sharma as regional vice president and head for South west Asia region.
He will look after Amdocs’ business with telecom operators in this region.
Sharma, who has more than 21 years of experience, has worked with IBM Global Services, Huawei, Samsung and Multitech.
He worked with Huawei leading their carries software and core network business. He spent nine years with IBM Global Services working across the Asia Pacific region.
Within IBM, he worked on various assignments in the solutions sales and marketing field, for the Indian and Asia-Pacific market with various telecom customers.
“Amdocs business is going through an exciting growth phase after the acquisitions of multiple companies, where the company is looking at significantly enhancing its presence in the south west Asia region within the Telecom and Enterprise customer’s base,” said Sanjay Sharma.
Amdocs is looking to work with telecom customers to enhance their customer experience and hence value to them.
His focus at Amdocs will be to attain and improve leadership position in OSS/BSS, policy control and enhancing customer experience through our innovative solutions for our customers and also to utilize its I.P created through working with services providers for innovative new business revenue stream solutions for customers and help them enhance their operations to deliver better customer experience to their customers.
