Huawei’s Ascend 910C AI chip has reached a 40 percent yield rate, making the production line profitable. The company aims to increase this yield to 60 percent, aligning with industry standards. The Ascend 910C is manufactured using the SMIC 7nm (N+2) process. Huawei plans to produce 100,000 Ascend 910C chips and 300,000 Ascend 910B chips in 2025, up from production targets in 2024.
