Spectra fiber broadband reaches Bengaluru

LazrSPEED 550 WideBand Multimode FiberSpectra, a regional provider fiber broadband services, has expanded its presence to Bengaluru, India. Earlier, the company was offering high-speed Internet service in Delhi NCR.

Spectra is offering up to 1 Gbps speed to its business and home broadband customers in Bengaluru. BSNL and Airtel are the main competitors in the Bengaluru broadband market.

Unlimited 1 Gbps speed for Rs 1,249  per month
1 Gbps package for  Rs 899 with 400 GB download data

“We launched 100 Mbps with symmetric speed and unlimited data download volume in the past and 1 Gbps is the logical next step to that,” Udit Mehrotra, CEO and managing director of Spectra, said.

Spectra will upgrade the Internet speed to 1 Gbps without additional cost to Bengaluru customers.

Spectra is making an investment of Rs 100 crore in its  network expansion to cover 4 lakh households and the launch in Bengaluru is a critical step within that project.

Spectra offers fiber connectivity for different types of organizations. These packages start from Rs 1,999 per month for basic 1 Gbps broadband and goes up to Rs 14,000 per month for a dedicated leased line for 50 Mbps Advantage Speed for first 500 GB and 5 Mpbs therafter with multiple IPs.
