Jon Eddy Abdullah resigns as CEO of Telenor company dtac 

Telenor today said Jon Eddy Abdullah has resigned from his position as CEO of dtac.

Sigve Brekke, vice chairman of Total Access Communication (dtac), will assume the role as the interim CEO of dtac.

Telenor has started the process of appointing a new CEO.

Brekke continues in his role as the executive vice president and head of Telenor Group’s Asia operations.

Since his appointment as CEO in March 2011, Jon Eddy Abdullah developed and navigated dtac through a period of significant change, both in the market and inside the company.
