India’s wired broadband subscribers reach 19.18 mn in March 2020

India’s wired broadband subscribers rose 0.51 percent from 19.07 million in February 2020 to 19.18 million in March 2020.
Optical fiber investmentIndia’s wireless broadband subscribers increased 0.94 percent to 667.66 in March 2020 from 661.45 million in February 2020.

The number of broadband subscribers – wired and wireless — increased from 681.11 million at the end of Feb-20 to 687.44 million at the end of Mar-20 with a monthly growth rate of 0.93 percent, TRAI said recently.

India’s top wired or fixed broadband providers are BSNL with 8.08 million subscribers, Bharti Airtel with 2.47 million, Atria Convergence Technologies with 1.61 million, Hathway Cable & Datacom with 0.97 million and Reliance Jio with 0.87 million.

India’s top wireless broadband service providers are Reliance Jio with 387.52 million, Bharti Airtel with 146.10 million, Vodafone Idea with 117.43 million, BSNL with 16.43 million and MTNL with 0.18 million subscribers.
