China Unicom to offer 3G and 4G mobile networks to support VisionChina Media’s plans to set up Wi-Fi networks on public transit across China.

China Unicom is China’s second largest mobile communications operator. The number telecom operator is China Mobile which is building a massive 4G network on TD-LTE technology in the country.

The company will benefit from millions of passengers across China’s public transit systems and over 50 minutes of average daily commuting time on buses and subways.
