Aptilo Networks bags several Stadium Wi-Fi deals in U.S., Europe and Asia

Aptilo Networks, a provider of Wi-Fi service management and offloading solutions, today said it won several Stadium Wi-Fi deals in the United States, Europe and Asia.

For instance, Aptilo has teamed up with a systems integrator to assist one of the top ten wireless operators in the U.S. to enable carrier Wi-Fi services to stadiums across the country, starting with a university football stadium.

In addition, Aptilo has deployed Wi-Fi offloading and carrier Wi-Fi solutions at six different stadiums for 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil with the two large mobile operators TIM and Oi.

“Venue Wi-Fi is a hot market. Aptilo gives venue owners and network operators the edge with our knowledge of bridging Carrier Wi-Fi and large-scale Venue Wi-Fi deployments,” said Torbjorn Ward, CEO of Aptilo Networks.

Aptilo claims that it SMP enables carrier-class Wi-Fi to deliver better user experience. Aptilo SMP also allows for services customized to the venue, teams, event or other stakeholders such as event-branded web portals for advertising and marketing initiatives.
