Bezeq chairman Shlomo Rodav steps down

Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication (Bezeq) announced the resignation of Shlomo Rodav, its chairman, with immediate effect.

Bezeq did not reveal reasons for the resignation of Shlomo Rodav.

The company’s Board decided to approve the appointment of the director David Granot as interim chairman until the appointment of a permanent chairman. Bezeq will start the process of selecting a permanent chairman as well.

Shlomo Rodav is leaving Bezeq after more than two years in the post, and under him the Group worked for corporate-level stability, the creation of a comprehensive strategic plan, building and implementing significant commercial moves in each of the Group companies. Shlomo Rodav had served as the chairman of Bezeq from 2007 to 2010.
