Vodafone 4G reaches more towns in Uttar Pradesh West and Uttarakhand

Telecom operator Vodafone India said its mobile Internet coverage has reached 8,000 plus towns in Uttar Pradesh West and Uttarakhand.

Vodafone India, which has 1.23 million subscribers in Uttar Pradesh West and Uttarakhand, has added 500 plus new cell sites to enhance mobile Internet coverage. Vodafone has over 770 Vodafone branded stores across the region.

Vodafone said its 4G is now available in major towns including Meerut, Dehradun, Agra, Haridwar, Aligarh, Bareilly, Meerut, Moradabad and Bijnore. With the newly launched sites, Vodafone 4G is now available in every district of Uttar Pradesh West and Uttarakhand.

“UP-West is a strong growth market for us with a rapidly expanding smartphone base and increasing consumption of mobile data,” said Dilip Kumar Ganta, business head – UP West, Vodafone India.
