Chinese mobile device maker ZTE to launch ZTE Optimus Barcelona soon

ZTE, the leading mobile device maker in
China, is preparing for the launch of yet another smartphone — ZTE Optimus
Barcelona — featuring 2.3.5 Gingerbread, according to recent reports.

 

The mobile device manufacturer that gave a feast of
mobile devices at the Mobile World Congress 2012 has codenamed the new device
as ZTE Optimus Barcelona, probably inspired by the success of their device
launches.

 

ZTE to unveil LTE, Windows Phone and multi-core Android devices

 

 

The company launched eight new Android smartphones at
Mobile World Congress 2012.

 

The ZTE Optimus Barcelona handset will feature Bluetooth
2.1+EDR module. The dual-mode handset is also believed to
support 3G and 2G networks with a promise to offer seamless
handovers. The device will support 2.4 GHz WiFi 802.11 (b/g/n).

 

Reports say the ZTE Optimus Barcelona is likely to be
targeted the mid-range market. It will launch in Europe initially.

 

ZTE ready to grab greater market share with new mobile devices

 

ZTE has announced a plethora of mobile devices and
technologies at the Mobile World Congress 2012. The most significant devices
among them include the Era smartphone that features quad-core processors and
the PF 100 tablet.

 

ZTE Era is the flagship device launch from ZTE at
Mobile World Congress and is part of a series of eight new devices unveiled at
the event.
