Huawei conducts IPv6 interoperability tests

By Telecom Lead Team: Huawei announced
that its SingleMetro series router NE40E and ME60 have completed IPv6 transition
tests, including Dual Stack (DS) and DS-Lite tests.

These tests were organized by the
European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC). Huawei was the only vendor to
demonstrate the IPv6 DS-Lite transition solution and the industry-leading Port
Control Protocol (PCP) technology.

Our performance in EANTC‘s
interoperability tests demonstrates the maturity of Huawei’s IPv6 solutions. By
pioneering research on IP technologies, Huawei provides solutions that focus on
long-term service requirements, allow operators to achieve multi-service
operation, and construct scalable networks during network convergence, helping
operators across the chasm,” said Gai Gang, president of Carrier IP Product
Line, Huawei.

Huawei IPv6 products and solutions have
served the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, CAEXPO, and Universiade 2011 Shenzhen, and
have provided six years of reliable service on China Next Generation Internet
(CNGI), the world’s largest IPv6 network. Huawei leads commercial use of IP
technologies with its products and solutions serving leading global telecom
operators, including BT, France Telecom, Vodafone, Telecom Italia, Swisscom,
Telefonica, SingTel, China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom.
