Reliance Communications to bundle free data usage with 3G tablet

Reliance Communications has
launched a new bundle offer on its 3G Tab, including free data usage and
international calls, to improve value and user experience for its customers. 

 

The company is
offering 500-MB free data bundle every month for three months (worth Rs 1,050)
to all new Reliance 3G Tab prepaid and postpaid customers. The offer also
includes a two month full subscription pack from BigFlix+ and free
international calls through Reliance Global Call.

“Witnessing
an explosive growth in the Tab market, Reliance 3G Tab has hit the sweet spot
with a terrific combination of a fully loaded Tablet and a seamless IP enabled
3G network leading to an unmatched customer experience,” said Sanjay Behl,
RCom Group Head of Brand and Marketing.

Furthermore,
customers would be given Rs 250 worth of international calls free with a
minimum recharge on Reliance Global Call and they can call their friends and
relatives in the US, UK, and Canada along with over 230 countries for rates as
low as Rs 1.49 a minute.

The new bundle
offer will enable customers to enjoy Internet, email on the go and social
networking on RCom’s 3G network, said an official RCom statement.

 The
company said its 3G Tab has been found a great acceptability and the new offer
will further will give new fillip to its value proposition.

 

The Reliance 3G Tab is priced at Rs 12,999, and comes with a seven-inch
capacitive touch screen with Android 2.3 operating system. The tab is
loaded with 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage, the tablet is sure to
find a wide appeal among Indian consumers. The tab weighs (389g) and equipped
with a 2.0MP rear camera and a front camera.
