Ericsson in BSS deal with Zain Kuwait, Radio Dot contract with STC

Ericsson today announced its Radio Dot System solution deal with STC and Business Support Systems (BSS) transformation contract with Zain Kuwait.

STC will be the first telecom operator to deploy Radio Dot System solution in the Middle East.

The Ericsson Indoor Radio Dot System integrates with the outdoor WCDMA and LTE networks will support scalable capacity for a variety of commercial buildings, including underserved medium-to-large buildings and venues.

“This partnership will help us in providing our business customers with the highest standards of telecommunications services,” said Abdullah Alzmame, network VP at STC.

Meanwhile, Ericsson has won Business Support Systems (BSS) transformation project from Zain Kuwait. Zain customers experience enhanced billing flexibility, single bill and capabilities to try out new services, without facing unexpected costs at the end of the month.

In November 2014, Ericsson successfully completed the implementation of its Charging System, Multi Activation, Multi Mediation and integration layer for Zain Kuwait.

“Zain Kuwait aims at streamlining operations, reducing costs, and providing the best customer experience,” said Omar Al Omar, CEO of Zain Kuwait.
