ACME bags $2.8 million telecom deal from Power Grid

ACME on Wednesday said it bagged orders from the state-owned Power Grid Corporation India (PGCIL) worth $2.87 million.

As per the one-year telecom deal, ACME will do the planning, designing, engineering and manufacturing and supplying of the telecom passive infrastructure. This apart, ACME will provide other energy requirements including ACME’s power interface units and solar photo voltaic power supply systems.

Samir Sharan, chief executive officer of ACME, said: “We thank PGCIL for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s growth through implementing green technologies in telecom sector and cutting down the carbon footprint.”
