Idea Cellular resumes 3G roaming, enabling mobile Internet to 25% of 137 million users

Indian telecom service provider Idea Cellular today announced that it resumed 3G services through Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) across 10 circles to 25 percent of its 137 million subscribers.

Earlier, Bharti Airtel, a GSM operator, announced 3G roaming services.

Idea customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kolkata & West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Assam and North East can now avail 3G services and roam.

Existing Idea users can recharge with any 3G pack priced in the range of Rs 7 to Rs 1,499.
