LG G Pro 2 priced at Rs 51,500, to compete against Samsung S5 smartphone

Korean consumer electronics vendor LG today priced LG G Pro 2 smartphone at Rs 51,500. It will rival Samsung S5 smartphone in India.

Samsung S5 smartphone is currently available on select ecommerce channels at Rs 47,500. The launch price was Rs 51,500.

Key specifications of the LG G Pro 2 include 3G/HSPA+ network, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core) GPU: Qualcomm Technologies Chipset, 16 GB/32 GB e MMC ROM, microSD Slot expandable up to 64GB, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 5.9 inch Full HD IPS (1920×1080), 13 MP OIS+ rear and 2.1 MP front cameras, 3,200 mAh battery, Bluetooth Smart Ready (BT4.0) USB, Wi-Fi, NFC and SlimPort, Android 4.4 KitKat OS and 157.9×81.9×8.3 mm size.

LG G Pro 2 launch earlier

LG G Pro 2, which was launched at the Mobile World Congress 2014, is available in white and titan black colors.

The Korean consumer electronics company launched the G Pro last year in the Indian market and received good response from consumers.

“The year 2014, is going to be an exciting year, as LG plans to bring out a string of innovative devices, which will capture the imagination of users. By year end, we intend to take on 10 percent share of the Indian smart phone market,” said Soon Kwon, MD, LG India.
