Indian 4G LTE service provider Reliance Jio today announced its agreement with Bharti Infratel to utilize the telecom tower infrastructure.

Bharti Infratel, which also supports operators such as Bharti Airtel, did not share the pricing details and the number of towers.

This agreement is in line with its earlier telecom infrastructure sharing deal with Bharti Airtel aimed at avoiding duplication of infrastructure.

“The agreement will help us with the faster roll out of our services across the country,” said Sanjay Mashruwala, managing director, Reliance Jio.
