Cellphone-Mate unveils dual band 80dB in-building amplifier

Cellphone-Mate, a provider of cell phone amplifiers and
accessories, announced the launch of 80dB dual-band cellular signal amplifier,
the SureCall CM2020 80dB in-building amplifier, designed for in-building use
for Enterprise or Commercial locations requiring improved cellular reception up
to 80,000 square feet.

“With the introduction of the dual band 80dB
cellular amplifier, we believe we’ve hit the trifecta for our customers:
powerful cellular amplification, high quality design and cost-effective pricing
for system integrators and installers,” said Hongtao Zhan, president,
Cellphone-Mate.

With their CM2020 line of enterprise class amplifiers,
Cellphone-Mate combines a linear design with compartmentalized architecture of
the power amplifiers within the unit. Linear design and compartmentalized
architecture work together to create a more effective cellular amplifier.

Linear amplifiers help allow for more cell phone calls to
be made or answered simultaneously without interference with each other. With
non-linear amplifiers, even two cellular phone calls can drastically reduce the
decibel level of the amplifier, severely limiting the ability for simultaneous
cellular calls to be made.

The significance of a dual-band 80 decibel amplifier is
that it provides the maximum signal available while providing a clear cellular
signal to a much larger area or overcomes a much weaker outside signal.

CM2020 80dB works with all 2G and 3G standards, dual band
capabilities for 800 and 1900 megahertz, independently adjustable uplinks and
downlinks to optimize call clarity and data rate and automatic shutdown to
prevent interference to cellular towers.

Cellphone-Mate recently announced
that it is introducing the first FCC approved, 4G LTE amplifier for the
AT&T network.

This announcement coincides with AT&T’s launching of
4G LTE service in Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago,
and their plans to reach at least 70 million Americans with 4G LTE coverage in
15 major metropolitan areas by the end of 2011.
