Orange Business to market Huawei video conferencing equipment

Huawei announced that it has signed a partnership deal to
sell video conferencing equipment through Orange Business Services and its
subsidiary EGT for Orange’s Open Videopresence service.

Orange parent company France Telecom provides the video
certification for the equipment and is compatible with other equipment
accredited for the Open Videopresence service.

Working with Huawei would
help Orange to open up the service to smaller firms who could not normally
afford large outlay on video conferencing equipment.

Orange is already the leader in video conferencing in
France, and plans to be the third largest video conference provider in the
world by 2015.

Orange Business Services recently announced that it is
launching
its new international gateway in Mumbai after receiving a clearance from the
Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for its Indian entity Equant Network
Services India.

The new international gateway will enable Orange Business Services to offer
international connectivity solutions to meet the growing demand of the Indian
enterprise segment. Orange already owns network in the country with 12
Telepresence-ready points of presence in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon,
Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
