Users across major telecom networks, including Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea, reported difficulties making calls, sending messages, and accessing mobile data, forcing some employees to leave their offices to find usable signals. The affected companies say unreliable connectivity is impacting productivity and business continuity. Employees have called for urgent intervention, requesting TRAI to assess network quality and ensure telecom operators improve coverage and service reliability in the affected areas.

ITI Lands Rs 856 Crore BSNL Deal to Expand Indigenous 4G Network
ITI Limited has secured a Rs 856.39 crore work order from BSNL to expand the state-owned operator’s indigenous 4G mobile network across western India. The turnkey project includes planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 4G infrastructure at 7,613 sites in the West Zone. The contract strengthens India’s Atmanirbhar telecom initiative by supporting the deployment of homegrown 4G technology. ITI previously partnered with Tata Consultancy Services to complete a major BSNL 4G rollout across 23,633 sites in the region, and this latest order further reinforces its role in expanding India’s domestically developed telecom infrastructure and improving mobile connectivity.
