Motorola moto g77 POWER Launched in India: 50MP Sony Camera, 7,000mAh Battery, Android 16, AI Features and 120Hz Display

Motorola has launched the moto g77 POWER in India, introducing a feature-packed mid-range smartphone that combines AI-powered photography, a massive 7,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, Android 16, and premium durability. Priced at an effective launch price of Rs. 23,999, the smartphone will be available from July 13, 2026, through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores across India.

One of the standout features of the moto g77 POWER is its 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera with Quad Pixel technology, f/1.8 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and 1.6μm ultra-pixel image processing for brighter low-light photography. The rear camera setup also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, making it suitable for landscape and group photography.

Motorola has integrated a broad range of AI-powered camera capabilities, including Portrait Mode, Night Vision, HDR, Panorama, Pro Mode with Long Exposure, Adobe Scan, Shot Optimization, Frame Match, Auto Smile Capture, Super Zoom, Google Lens integration, RAW image capture, QR scanning, burst mode, assistive grid, leveler, watermark support, and location tagging. Google Photos AI editing features such as Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Reimagine, Auto Frame, Portrait Blur, Portrait Light, Sky Effects, Color Pop, and Edit Photos by Asking further enhance the photography experience.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone features a 32MP front camera with Quad Pixel technology and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera supports Night Vision, HDR, Portrait Mode, Gesture Selfie, Face Enhance, Face Retouch, Selfie Animation, Selfie Mirror, automatic Group Mode, 2K video recording, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), Dual Capture, and Hyperlapse.

Video recording capabilities include 2K recording at 30fps, Full HD recording at up to 60fps, 120fps slow-motion video, Hyperlapse, Dual Capture, Electronic Image Stabilization, and 6x digital zoom while recording.

The moto g77 POWER features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2400 × 1080 resolution, 391 ppi, and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother gaming and scrolling. The display delivers up to 1,050 nits peak brightness, supports Display Color Boost, and includes Water Touch technology, allowing the touchscreen to remain responsive even with wet hands. Motorola says the display offers a 90.97 percent active touch area and an 85.95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Entertainment is enhanced through dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Volume Boost, Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, providing an immersive multimedia experience.

Battery life is another major highlight. The smartphone houses a 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims delivers up to 59 hours or approximately three days of typical usage. The device supports 30W TurboPower fast charging, 6W wired reverse charging, and intelligent Battery Care software for improved power management.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor built on a 6nm process, featuring an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.5GHz alongside an Arm Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The device comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, while RAM Boost technology expands available memory to 24GB for improved multitasking. Storage includes 128GB UFS 2.2, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Running Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UX, the smartphone includes Circle to Search, Google Gemini AI, and productivity features that support AI-assisted writing, planning, learning, voice interaction, and image-based search. Motorola has committed to one Android OS upgrade to Android 17 and three years of security updates.

Durability has also received significant attention. The moto g77 POWER features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, SGS-certified MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The device measures 166.23 × 76.50 × 8.89 mm, weighs 215 grams, and is available with premium vegan leather or PMMA finishes.

The smartphone is offered in Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Fuchsia Red, and Pantone Impenetrable colour options.

Connectivity features include 5G Sub-6, 4G LTE, dual Nano SIM, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Security features include Moto Secure, ThinkShield for Mobile, Google Play Protect, Secure Folder, App Lock, Malware Detection, Phishing Detection, Network Protection, Secure Power-off, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock, and Smart Connect for seamless connectivity with Windows PCs, tablets, TVs, and compatible Motorola devices.

The moto g77 POWER will be available in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant at an effective launch price of Rs. 23,999 starting July 13, 2026. Motorola is also bundling an exclusive Jio offer that provides access to an OTT Pass covering 15 premium OTT applications for Rs. 200 per month, with bundled benefits valued at approximately Rs. 1,500.
