Mobile Pulse unveils MBB measurement and analysis software

Telecom Lead Europe: Mobile Pulse, a provider of mobile
broadband measurement and analysis software solutions, has launched its new
mobile broadband measurement and analysis software solution.

The new solution provides the capability to analyze
coverage, performance and availability of an organization’s broadband mobile
networks, by carrier, location and device.

The company through its solutions serves the whole mobile
ecosystem consisting enterprise, government IT executives, tower companies
and carriers.

The entire mobile ecosystem is negatively impacted by
the lack of specific, actionable information associated with mobile network
performance,” said Andrew MacFarlane, CEO and founder, Mobile Pulse.

The company claims that independent mobile broadband
measurement data enables enterprise and government executives, tower companies
and carriers to identify and solve performance issues in their mobile networks.

With information in hand, companies can achieve improved
mobile network availability for all mobile devices, and improved productivity.

Mobile Pulse gathers performance metrics and
provides actionable analytics based on the data gathered over time, across
geographies, carriers, and devices.

The performance test results generated by the Mobile
Pulse software can be used by national carriers and tower companies
to address problem coverage areas.

The results will allow these companies to offer better
coverage and faster networks.

In addition to the solution launch, the company has also
secured $2.5 million from a group of strategic angel investors to help
accelerate the company’s efforts.

Sid Gorham, former CEO of Neilsen Media (formerly
Telephia), and Robert McKenzie, a current board member of Crown Castle, have
joined the Board of Directors of Mobile Pulse.
