Telecom Lead America: Jumptap, a provider of targeted
mobile advertising, has appointed Frank Weishaupt as chief operating officer of
the company.
This is a new role at Jumptap that will help continue to
drive sales and our market brand. Frank’s knowledge, industry presence and
drive will be great assets as we continue to grow and shape the business,” said
George Bell, CEO, Jumptap.
Weishaupt possesses over 15 years of digital media
experience.
Speaking on the appointment, Frank Weishaupt, COO, of
Jumptap said, The exploding mobile ad market and the innovative way in which
Jumptap delivers targeting and mobile audience data are just two of the reasons
why I’m excited to be joining the company. Jumptap is answering advertisers’
call for more data and relevancy in a way unlike anyone else in the industry.
Prior to Jumptap, he was serving Criteo as SVP of Sales
and Publisher Marketplace. Before Criteo, Weishaupt spent 10 years at Yahoo!
across a number of key operating roles, including Vice President of Advertising
Marketplaces.
In addition to the appointment of Weishaupt, Jumptap has
also named John Hadl, venture partner at US Venture Partners, to the company
board.
John is a true mobile pioneer with deep industry
knowledge, and all of us on the board will benefit from his input,” said George
Bell.
