The 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will spotlight the country’s 6G ambitions with the 2nd International Bharat 6G Symposium, scheduled for October 9–10 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. Organized in partnership with the Bharat 6G Alliance, this event will explore how next-generation connectivity can power digital sovereignty, economic growth, and technology innovation in India and worldwide.

The symposium will be inaugurated by Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Minister of Communications, along with senior policymakers including Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, and Prof. Ajay Sood. Their presence underscores India’s commitment to shaping global 6G standards and accelerating domestic adoption.
International Collaboration
More than 70 experts and industry leaders from regions such as the UK, Europe, USA, Japan, Germany, Finland, and Sweden will participate. Technology powerhouses like Ericsson, Nokia, Nvidia, and Qualcomm, alongside global industry bodies such as NGMN Alliance and GSMA, will share insights on 6G research, deployment, and commercialization.
Strong Academic Participation
India’s leading institutions—IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Kanpur—will showcase research on AI-native 6G networks, non-terrestrial connectivity, and spectrum harmonization. Global academics including Prof. Harald Haas (University of Cambridge) and Dr. Ashutosh Dutta (Johns Hopkins University) will join discussions on next-generation wireless breakthroughs.
