The deployment of this upgrade empowers TPG Telecom with enhanced flexibility, enabling swifter updates of new network features and substantially improving responsiveness and execution times of end-to-end flows within its core network.
For TPG Telecom’s multi-million customers, this technological advancement translates into tangible service improvements, including accelerated delivery of new security and reliability features in a more stable manner. Consequently, customers can anticipate fewer interruptions and heightened network performance.
Compared to conventional network upgrade mechanisms, the ISSU implementation offers a remarkable 70 percent reduction in software upgrade execution time for the targeted functions in this initial rollout, eliminating the necessity for external assistance during upgrades.
