Orange Group has reported first-quarter 2025 revenues of 9,911 million euros, marking a year-on-year increase of 0.6 percent (+62 million euros).

The marginal rise in Orange’s revenue was driven by a 2.4 percent rise in retail services (+181 million euros) and a smaller decline in wholesale services (-3.1 percent or -44 million euros). Equipment sales fell 5.7 percent (-38 million euros) and other revenues declined 13.9 percent (-37 million euros).
Africa & Middle East was the main growth driver, with revenues rising 12.8 percent (+231 million euros), powered by strong performances in Mobile data (+21.0 percent), Fixed broadband (+19.1 percent), Orange Money (+22.1 percent), and B2B services (+17.1 percent).
Revenues in France dropped 1.3 percent (-55 million euros); however, retail services excluding PSTN grew 1.5 percent, while wholesale services declined 4.3 percent.
In Europe, revenues remained stable at -0.2 percent (-3 million euros), with retail services (excluding IT&IS) growing 1.2 percent (+14 million euros) and IT and Integration Services rebounding with 17.0 percent growth (+18 million euros); meanwhile, wholesale services (-6.6 percent or -13 million euros) and equipment sales (-7.4 percent or -20 million euros) declined.
Orange Business revenues fell 4.9 percent (-96 million euros) due to declines in Fixed-only revenues (-7.4 percent or -56 million euros) and mobile revenues (-6.9 percent or -17 million euros), while IT and Integration Services revenues decreased 2.5 percent (-23 million euros) amid competitive pressures, although Orange Cyberdefense posted solid growth of 8.0 percent (+23 million euros).
Orange reported first-quarter 2025 Capex of 1,463 million euros, a 6.6 percent increase (+91 million euros). Capex for telecom activities represented 14.8 percent of revenues, aligning with the company’s 2025 target.
Orange Group maintained its leadership in convergence across Europe, including France, reaching 9.2 million convergent customers (+1.1 percent). The company showed strong commercial momentum in mobile contracts and very high-speed fixed broadband.
Mobile services recorded 256.0 million accesses globally (+5.5 percent), including 95.7 million contract customers (+5.5 percent).
Fixed services totaled 38.1 million accesses (-2.8 percent), with fixed broadband at 22.1 million accesses (+3.7 percent), driven by continued strong growth in very high-speed broadband, which reached 15.0 million accesses (+13.4 percent).
