Today’s mobile statistics revealed by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has the details of Reliance Jio Infocomm and its 4G subscriber base in all circles.
Reliance Jio Infocomm, which started the commercial launch of 4G services in September, is the fifth largest wireless operator in India.
Reliance Jio has 16 million mobile Internet users in India, while Bharti Airtel has 44.25 million, Vodafone India 35.93 million, Idea Cellular 30.72 million and Reliance Communications has 16.62 million.
In September, Reliance Jio was the top telecom operator in the Indian telecom services market with 15.97 million 4G subscribers. Bharti Airtel added 24,32,282 subscribers. Idea Cellular added 19,13,319 users. BSNL added 14,01,578 subscribers. Vodafone added 525,261 users. Aircel added 426,862 customers. Reliance Communications added 97,942 customers.
Tata Docomo lost 12,23,178 subscribers in September 2016.
Reliance Jio and its 16 million came from the following states.

In the Indian wireless space, Reliance Jio has 1.52 percent share in September 2016 against Bharti Airtel’s 24.76 percent.
The number of broadband subscribers increased to 192.30 million in September from 171.71 million in August 2016 with a monthly growth rate of 11.99 percent.
