SK Telecom on Tuesday said its 4G user base reached 13.5 million last year. Its 4G LTE user base accounts for around 50 percent of its total mobile subscriber base.

Announcing the financial result for 2013, SK Telecom said sales of its enterprise solution business increased by 60 percent to KRW 434 billion.

SK Telecom 2013 revenue rose 2.9 percent to KRW 16.602 trillion, 16.2 percent increase in operating income to KRW 2.011 trillion and 44.3 percent increase in net income to KRW 1.610 trillion.

SK Telecom’s average churn rate for the year 2013 stood at 2.3 percent, decreasing by 0.3 percent compared to that of the previous year.

Last year, SK Telecom has differentiated network quality by commercializing the world’s first LTE-Advanced service in June 2013, and led the market towards a service/product-oriented competition by introducing diverse plans and programs that increase customer benefits.

SK Telecom will enhance its network quality by launching 20MHz + 10MHz LTE-Advanced service in the second half of 2014.
