Jio Platforms raised $13.73 bn from global investors

Reliance Industries said Jio Platforms has raised Rs 104,326.95 crore or $13.73 billion from global investors including Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, KKR, Mubadala, ADIA, TPG and L Catterton since April 22, 2020.
Jio investorsJio Platforms recently announced an investment of Rs 1894.50 crore by L Catterton, one of the world’s largest consumer focused private equity firms, by picking up 0.39 percent equity stake.

Global alternative asset firm TPG will also invest Rs 4,546.80 crore in Jio Platforms by picking up 0.93 percent equity stake.
