Huawei unveils Beyond LTE Technology for 30Gbps

Telecom Lead India: Chinese telecommunications equipment
major Huawei has unveiled its Beyond LTE technology that enables mobile
operators to increase peak rates to 30Gbps – over 20 times faster than existing
commercial LTE networks.

Mobile networks are developing at an unprecedented rate.
Future technologies will bring revolutionary advances in network evolution –
higher spectrum efficiency, wider spectrum aggregation, and faster access
rates. Our Beyond LTE technology signifies the future of mobile broadband,”
said David Wang, president of Huawei’s Wireless Network Business Unit.

Huawei’s Beyond LTE technology features better antenna
structure, radio frequency architecture, intermediate frequency algorithms, and
multi-user MIMO.

The company claims that it improves the spectrum
utilization efficiency of mobile communications systems and the construction
and operation efficiency of entire networks.

Huawei said innovative antenna structure improves
performance and meets wideband requirements. While next generation direct radio
frequency technology reduces costs and power consumption, and realizes ultra
broadband carrier aggregation, multi-antenna coding algorithm makes full use of
MIMO channel capacity.

According to recent data from the 3rd Generation
Partnership Project (3GPP), Huawei has 265 LTE/LTE-A Core specifications
approved since 2010, which is 20 percent of the total number approved and the
most out of any other company in the industry.
