Telecom operator China Mobile today revealed the number of 4G subscribers in 2016.
China Mobile, the world’s largest telecom operator, has 535.03 million 4G subscribers at the end of December 2016. Reliance Jio, a leading mobile operator in India, has added 72.4 million 4G subscribers till December 2016 — after launching the free promotional service in September 2016.

China Mobile had 335.56 million 4G subscribers in January 2016. China Mobile added nearly 200 million 4G subscribers in the last 12 months.
