The number of VSAT subscribers in India increased 2.34 percent or 6,449 units to 281,912 in September 2018 from 275,463 in June 2018, according to the latest statistics from TRAI.
Bharti Airtel has 77,399 VSAT subscribers with 27.46 percent share. Airtel has added 2,344 VSAT subscribers during the recent quarter.
Tatanet Services has added 4,567 VSAT subscribers. Tatanet Services has a VSAT subscriber base of 65,298 with 23.16 market share.
HCL Comnet has lost 1,051 VSAT subscribers during the quarter. HCL Comnet’s VSAT subscriber base reached 18,613.
BSNL has 16,732 VSAT subscribers as it lost 432 subscribers. BSNL has 5.94 percent share in the India VSAT market.
