Telecom Lead India: Vodafone India, one of India’s
leading telecommunications service providers has announced the launch of its
Bada Bonus Card – Rs 197 for its pre-paid customers in Andhra Pradesh.
The ‘Rs 197 Bada Bonus Card’ provides 42,000
seconds talk time on any local network, with a validity of 4 weeks and
is available through e-top-up, at all exclusive retail outlets and
multibrand outlets.
Recently, Bharti Airtel also launched its two new recharge coupons RC
24 and RC 46 for its prepaid customers in Kerala. These recharges are limited
period offers specifically designed to give prepaid mobile customers in
Kerala maximum value for their money.
However, a few months back, Vodafone increased its
postpaid tariffs in the Mumbai telecom circle by 20 percent. The company had
extended a similar increase last year for prepaid users.
Carriers including the Vodafone unit and market leader
Bharti Airtel raised tariffs for prepaid users by about a fifth in the middle
of last year in the first such increase in at least two years in the fiercely
competitive sector.
