Verizon, Comcast offer new offers in Florida

Telecom Lead America: Wireless major Verizon and Comcast
have again joined forces to offer each other’s services throughout Florida.

The association will bring offers and incentives for new
and existing customers of the area.

The new offers and incentives include Visa prepaid
cards valued up to $300 and customers can also get complementary 12-month
subscriptions to Xfinity Streampix and Blast!, and Comcast HD DVR at no
additional cost for six months.

The Xfinity Internet service provides download speeds of
up to 30 Mbps with PowerBoost.

Our momentum with Comcast in delivering these value
packages in other markets is continually receiving praise and high satisfaction
from customers. Comcast’s product suite combined with the Verizon Wireless 4G
LTE network is the ideal complement to complete the package,” said Pam Tope,
Florida region president, Verizon Wireless.

Under this new scheme, customers will also get 12 months
free of AnyPlay from Xfinity, which enables customers to choose to use their
home Wi-Fi service to stream their live TV subscription to their iPad and
Android tablets within the home.

Now, Comcast customers in throughout Florida will
have the option of building a great in-home experience through our Xfinity
services, along with the reliability of Verizon Wireless’ network while on the
go,” said Amy Smith, senior vice president of the Florida Region at Comcast.

Verizon Wireless, Comcast team up to offer new services in
Central Alabama

Both companies are also expanding these offers to several
cities across Arizona and New Mexico. Earlier, similar plans and incentives
were introduced in Gadsden and Tuscaloosa of central Alabama.

The offer is already available in other cities in
Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky,
Louisiana, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oregon, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Utah and Washington.
