The trial conducted in Abu Dhabi has demonstrated the ability to create dedicated network slices that meet the high-speed and low-latency demands of modern gaming applications. These slices extended across in-home Wi-Fi and fiber access networks, ensuring a seamless experience.

Nokia’s solution, featuring Altiplano, Corteca, and NSP domain controllers, allows mobile operators to autonomously or on-demand design cross-domain network slices tailored for specific use cases, such as gaming, TV streaming, remote work, and enterprise applications. These slices are customizable in terms of routing, bit rate, latency, QoS, and security.

The trial showcased the solution’s ability to detect gaming consoles automatically and create dedicated network slices to optimize gaming performance. This innovation helps operators monetize their networks by delivering premium, customized services.

Abdul Rahman Al Humaidan, VP of Fixed Access Network at e& UAE, highlighted the company’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies to enhance customer experiences and ROI.

Mohamed Salama, Head of Fixed Networks at Nokia, emphasized the solution’s role in setting industry benchmarks and enabling future autonomous networks for premium services.
