Batelco starts upgrade of telecom network

Batelco on Monday said it’s rolling out its fiber network across the Kingdom to deliver Super-Fast fixed broadband.

The telecom service provider is also upgrading its entire network system including its 4G and 3G Networks to provide faster mobile broadband. Batelco said the upgrades will enhance the mobile coverage throughout the whole Kingdom. The networks upgrade will enhance the quality of the network and internet speed around the Kingdom.

Batelco A/Bahrain CEO Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco’s investment to enhance its networks and improve quality of services was part of the company’s strategy to meet the high expectations of its subscribers.

The company warned that due to upgrade work, some customers may experience temporary disruption to their service.
