Proximus signs deal with Huawei to better digital experience

Huawei and Proximus announced partnership focusing on three areas including mobile user experience, telecom coverage and service innovation in Belgium.

While looking at offering digital services by developing new capabilities across the network, the two partners will improve their ability to respond to changing data and voice traffic needs of customers.

Dominique Leroy, CEO of Proximus, said: “This agreement will ensure the continued development of our network in order to offer the best user experience to our customers.”

Huawei

First, Proximus and Huawei will work on improving the voice quality, data and video user experience.

Second, Proximus and Huawei will collaborate for an indoor-to-outdoor experience via innovative solutions, leveraging small cell technologies.

Third, the partners will work to respond to evolving market needs with agile service development and open platforms enabling digital services and applications driving efficiency and productivity across industries.
